Spring is not that far off and now is a great time to make sure your mower is up for the challenge of another season.
All mechanical equipment needs regular maintenance including your lawn mower. Unless you have acres of lawn, usually you can get by with one seasonal maintenance on your mower. Doing at the end of the season makes the most sense. That way it will be ready for storage and ready to go in the spring. But, if you didn’t winterize your mower last fall, now is the time to do it before your grass starts growing like gang busters.
Items you want to make sure are taken care of:
- Oil Change
- Blade Sharpen and Balance
- Replace Spark Plug if more than a couple years old
- Lubricate Cables, Chassis and Connections
- Clean the Mower Deck, especially underneath
The easiest way to handle this is drop off your mower at a local mower repair shop. If you’re not sure of where one is at, drop me an email with your name and address and I’ll send you a few recommendations.
